Italian artist Dj Nio, currently residing in the enchanting landscapes of Bali, Indonesia, is set to tantalize the world's taste buds and musical sensibilities with his latest project, "Bali Warung Musik”. This EP is a unique fusion of traditional Indonesian sounds, the flavors of Bali's street food, and pulsating Hip Hop beats.

"Bali Warung Musik" is more than just an EP: it's a sensory journey through the vibrant and diverse culture of Bali. Nio's creative exploration has been a culinary diary of the local street food he has savored in his first four months on this tropical island. Embracing the heart and soul of Bali's culinary traditions, Nio's EP captures the essence of warung(s), small family-owned restaurants that are an integral part of daily life in Indonesia.

In addition to savoring the local cuisine, Dj Nio has delved into the traditional music of Bali, drawing inspiration from the enchanting sounds of Gamelan, Kacapi Suling, and other indigenous musical traditions. Simultaneously, he has unearthed the treasures of 1970s Jakarta's Psychedelic and Progressive Rock scene, infusing his unique sound with elements of nostalgia.

Nio has crafted his music by sampling ancient instruments and creating Hip Hop beats that range from chilled and laid-back vibes to the classic Boom Bap, showcasing his versatility as a producer. The first single, "Nasi Goreng”, from the EP is a testament to this fusion, as it weaves the traditional sound of a sizzling wok preparing Indonesia's famous fried rice into the fabric of his music.
